I'm impressed.

I've been searching online to see if anyone else has done this successfully to see if the drivers even exist for such a setup. I have a desktop which I use for lots of things but primarily a mediacenter machine which can surf web, play netflix movies etc on my 40" Sony Bravia.

I want to have all this working on Ubuntu, since I'm tired of windows, and clearly Linux has lot of potential from customization point of view, windows for example becomes hard to use on 1080p and 1920x1080 resolution, due to extremely large screen and small unreadable text, even increasing dpi, and using larger font themes is no substitute.

Thanks for the article, I'll give this a try.
