The funny I suppose is that my wife thinks everything goes well with pickles regardless of her "with child" status, and that she replied that a pickle is "close" to milk, which last I checked is generally considered false. Perhaps a 'ya had ta be there' would be in order. The whole milk/pickle reference created a fear in me that there would be the announcement of another addition to the family. Perhaps you were pickled yourself and the blood alcohol level in your brain created a sense of euphoria which added to your jovial responsiveness. Did I sugar coat that enough?
